Which version and which extension are you enable?

It should be the bot_MosModule not the MosModuleMod which is just an add-on to bot_MosModule.

I disabled the html module and enabed the mosmodule, then I went live to check my site and it gives me same error. "Direct Access to this location is not allowed"

Which extension did you disable extension?
Can you try to have only MosModule to see if you have error?

I test with Joomla and it work just fine for me unless something else that I didn't know about.

Hi,

Running Joomla 1.5.15 and Legacy 1.0. I'm trying to insert html code within a module or an article. I have installed a module called Joomla 1.5 HTML Module and the mosmodule extension. When i enable the extension i ge the following error on my site when I try to view the changes. "Direct Access to this location is not allowed" When i disable to extension, my site works again.
Does anyone know why it does this or if there is a remedy?

get "Category ID" from your category manager and put it in "ID:" field and select category as source.

try to enter just {mosmodule} and you should see a list of available mosmodule command if your mambot is install and enable.

Many thanks for your response, which is very much appreciated.
I've saved the module several times and ensured that I'm not using WYSIWYG. However, I now do not see the code and neither do I see the snippet of phpinc file hello.php.
Ay other ideas?

1. the "folderName" didn't save to your database until to click on save in the Mambot manager for MosModule
2. alias is an advance feature that I add recently to handle alias for more complex command in MosModule.

If you see the code you type then it is likely you are using WYSIWYG editor to edit the code you should use plain text when enter MosModule command.

Dear Chanh

I've installed MosModule and the installation seemed to be OK. However, the Mambot does not seem to be working.

First of all, I do not understand the instruction given in the Mambot to "Note: Need to save and enable in the mosmodule mambot in config screen before the folder name store in the database". What "config" screen is being referred to?

Secondly, in the Parameters fields, the "FolderName" field defaults to "ModModule" but should that show the full path to the folder? Also, does the "Alias" ini file need to be changed?

I have referenced the code in a content page and used the sample code "{mosmodule phpinc=hello.php,firstname,lastname}" and the code does not show when previewed, so I assume that the module is "doing something". I'm using Mambo 4.6 with PHP v5.0. Could it be that MosModule doesn't work in v4.6?

I would like to use your Mambot to run a PHP file which references a mySQL table and loads the contents of that table into a Mambo html table.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you did not activate moscombot then I assume you are editing the template to add MosCom, is that correct?

Hi,

we enabled SEF on our site (Joomla 1.5.14) and since then the comment form isn´t displayed on articles. The module MosComLatestX still uses the old URLs which works - klicking on the module entries lead to the article with all comments and the form.

MosCom 2.0.6
MosComLatestX 2.0.3
MosComBot 2.0.3 (not activated)

Any suggestions for this problems, perhaps another SEF extension??

what is the error?
It should do it just fine usually unless you did not set the permission to 777 before to do the uninstall.

If you want to do it manually you can just remove the mosmodule.* and mosmodule folder in plugin folder.

mod_mosmodule is just a module that use the plugin bot_mosmodule that you also have to download and install.

mod_mosmodule won't do it by itself it needs to have bot_mosmodule in order for it to run.

you don't need mod_mosmodule if you don't need to run in a module and only want to run in content then you only install bot_mosmodule.

If I turn off the HTML editors and have "no editor" then I get the same result.
The command is just not parsing.

I have Legacy 1.0 enabled. I have mod_mosmodule enabled.
I have the latest version too.

What else do I need enabled?

you in to your usermanager and turn off editor only use plain text. In my install the editor work but in some system config it didn't work so that is why I suggest anyone has problem turn off editor.

you can try to enter the command in the none html mode but that might not work.

turn off editor and use plain editor is the sure thing.

Hi, I tried using Tiny HTML editor and that doesn't work either.
Its just not parsing the command.

you have to turn off JCE. It is known to cause problem.

In the usermanager to can set to not use JCE or create another user that do not use JCE.

I don't think theres a plain text option.

did you edit it using none WYSIWYG?
did you have a module call "Advertisement"?
Note the exact spelling must match!
The best way to test whether it work or not is to do

{mosmodule}

This should give you a list of mosmodule command.

If not then your WYSIWYG mess it up then make sure to edit it with just plan text.

I enabled legacy, but why isnt it parsing as it should? Its a mystery...
